  • 2- small potatoes
  • 2- eggs

For the spinach dough

  • 1-small onion
  • 1-garlic clove
  • 200 g of spinach
  • 30 ml of cream
  • 3-egg yolks
  • 2-egg whites
  • 75 g of flour
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg, olive oil

For the filling

  • 300 g of cream cheese Philadelphia
  • 200 g of sliced ​​roasted turkey bacon or breast

Preparation of Potato Dough

  1. First, we will rinse the potatoes well and boil them with skin. We will peel the skin, and we will press them with a masher.
  2. We will separate the yolks from the whites, and in a separate bowl, we will beat the whites with an electric hand beater until they become a stable foam.
  3. We will mix the crushed potatoes with the egg yolks, panna cotta, salt, and pepper until it becomes a homogeneous mixture. Finally, add the egg whites and mix carefully. We throw the potato mixture in a pastry bag.
  4. We will take a flat baking pan, cover it with baking paper and place the potato dough on top of it in an irregular shape, as you like, like a tree branch. It will create decor for our role. We leave it like that, and in the meantime, we will prepare the spinach mixture.

How To Prepare Spinach And Roast It

  1. In a pan, add a little olive oil, a clove of garlic, and finely chopped onion and sauté until softened and release the aroma.
  2. We continue with cleaned raw spinach, and we will saute it for a few minutes. We rinse and drain it well before adding it to the pan.
  3. Let the cooked spinach cool for a bit.
  4. We will beat the egg whites separately, and we will mix the yolks with the cream, salt, pepper, nutmeg.
  5. We can blend it a little and then mix it with the egg yolks and finally with the egg whites.
  6. Put the spinach mixture in the pan on top of the potato layer, level it with a spatula, and bake it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.

How to Prepare the Role

  1. Once it bakes, we will turn it into a kitchen napkin, and place another wet kitchen napkin on top of the baking paper, so that it cools faster and can easily separate to collect later. We let it cool for 30 minutes
  2. After it, we turn it by the inside part, we will spread the cream cheese, and we will place the slices of turkey breast above it.
  3. We will carefully collect the rolls, collect them well with plastic bags, and put them in the fridge for a few hours to strengthen the spinach roll, and we can easily cut it into pieces to serve.
  4. Before serving, take it out of the fridge, cut it into 3-4 cm thick slices and place it on a serving plate to serve along with other dishes and appetizers prepared for our festive meal.
