Ingredients

  • 500 g of black mussels
  • 3 slices of bread
  • Parmesan cheese
  • parsley
  • black pepper
  • Lemon zest
  • olive oil
  • dill
  • garlic

Directions

  1. First, we will clean the mussels well in running water. So, as the first step, we will clean mussels by the thread they depend on their natural habitat.
Furthermore, we do this by pulling it from its widest part by sliding it until it detaches. Then, we will rub the shell surface with a wire mesh to remove the impurities they have on the shell.
  2. Once done, rinse well once, and set the black mussels to open in a wide, shallow pot or pan covered with a lid.
  3. We put them on medium heat. The mussels will open in two minutes.
  4. Next, remove them from the fire, and we will detach the empty shell part. The mussel stands on the other half.
  5. Also, arrange the mussel shell pieces in a baking pan.Easy Stuffed Mussels- Family Cooking Recipes
  6. Then, prepare the filling for the mussels. So in a shredder, we will add the bread, a spoonful of minced cheese, a clove of garlic, fresh dill and parsley, minced lemon peel, black pepper, and olive oil.
  7. We will not add salt because mussels have enough of their own. Also, add a few tablespoons of the mussel juice we got when opening the pan. Thus the filling we are preparing will bind and stay better in the shell.Easy Stuffed Mussels- Family Cooking Recipes
  8. We will grind all the ingredients and get a homogeneous mass.
  9. We will use this mixture to stuff our mussels. Once we fill the mussel halves well covered, we will line them in a pan lined with baking paper.
  10. Add a pinch of olive oil on top and put them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10-12 minutes.Easy Stuffed Mussels- Family Cooking Recipes
