So, this beef Casserole is another tasty traditional recipe. And, like the Tave Dheu Recipe, this recipe is a delicious warm appetizer. Furthermore, we can enjoy it at family dinners or lunches or even serve it as a unique dish cooked in a one-piece casserole.
Moreover, the way of cooking is similar to the casserole with liver, but since the meat requires cooking time otherwise, we have brought the detailed recipe for you with this ingredient.
Ingredients
- 500 g of beef pulp
- 1 onion
- 1/2 glass of white wine
- 2 ripe tomatoes or tomato sauce
- 100 g feta cheese
- 1 tbsp of flour
- olive oil
- salt, pepper
- bay leaves
- 1 tbsp of minced kashkaval cheese
Directions
- First, peel and cut the onion finely with a knife and cook it in a pot with three tablespoons of olive oil until it softens. Add a little salt.
- As soon as we see that it has received the right softening, we will add the pulp of the beef, cut it into small pieces.
- Then, we stir both together until we see that the meat has changed color.
- Next, will quench it with wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
- We close it and let it cook, stirring time after time until the released liquid dries. We will see that the onion cooks well. There we will add the grated tomato paste. Let it cook closed with a lid on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Once the tomato turns into the sauce, add two cups of water. Then, let it simmer for 30 minutes until we see that the meat cooks and is soft.
- It should remain in its liquid in the form of a sauce. Add minced cheese, oregano, and black pepper.
- Then, let it boil again for another minute.
- In a bowl, we will mix the flour with cold water and throw it in the dishes. Next, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Dilute it if it will thicken too much. It should be in its sauce.
- Then, divide it into small pans and put some laurel leaves in them.
- Finally, top with the grated kashkaval cheese and put them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes at the time of serving.
- In the end, we take them out and serve them hot.
