This Squid Pasta Recipe is a seafood-flavored first course, simple in ingredients and delicious to eat. This dish cooks very quickly, and it is a good choice for a family lunch or dinner with seafood recipes. We can also serve it as a unique dish accompanied by a seasonal salad for a light dinner.
Squid is a seafood ingredient that is easily found fresh in any fish market, and we can prepare dozens of recipes, such as risotto, pasta, stuffed, fried, grilled, baked, etc.
In this recipe, we cook the fresh squids with sea cicadas for a delicious pasta sauce.
Ingredients – 4 Servings
- 400 g of linguine pasta
- 2 -squids
- 300 – 400 g (Mantis shrimps) sea cicada
- ½ glass of white wine
- 3-4 medium tomatoes
- 150-200 g tomato paste
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1-garlic clove
- salt, pepper, olive oil
Directions
- We will clean the squid and cut them in a circle with kitchen scissors or pieces if you prefer otherwise.
- Rinse them and sea cicadas well. We will use cicadas in our sauce with the whole bone part for a more delicious juice. You can open the sea cicadas on the side with a scissor so that it is easier to remove the inside part when we serve them in our pasta.
- We will place a pot of water to boil and cook pasta.
- In a pan, we will add olive oil and garlic clove. Once the oil is flavored and heated, add the squid and sea cicadas and cook for 2-3 minutes. We will quench them with white wine and let the alcoholic part evaporate at a high temperature.
- We will add a little salt, pepper, and chopped tomatoes. Let them cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes melted.
- Meanwhile, the water is ready, and we will boil our pasta al dente.
- We will add the tomato puree and let them cook together for a few more minutes. We season all with finely chopped parsley.
- We drain cooked pasta and add it to the saucepan. We season it for 1-2 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper, olive oil, and fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Bon Appetit!
