Oven Baked Beef Ribs Recipe

Beef is one of the meats that many families use daily or weekly. The way of cooking is many and various, also depending on the anatomic part of the beef. We like to share our Oven Baked Beef Ribs Recipe, a good suggestion, and an option for the weekend’s meals.

Oven Baked Beef Ribs Recipe-Family Cooking Recipes

Ingredients for 4 Servings

  • 1.2-1.5 kg beef ribs
  • 3-4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2-3 tbsp mixture of dry herbs
  • salt, pepper

For Side Dish- Baked Oven Vegetables

  • 2-3 medium potatoes
  • 2- carrots
  • 1-2 eggplants
  • 1-2-zucchinis
  • 1 -red bell pepper
  • 4-5 cherry tomatoes
  • Olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh or dry herbs to garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven at 200 °C/400°F
  2. In a large open dish, marinate the beef ribs, adding salt, pepper, a mix of herbs, and olive oil. You can use your favorite herbs. I used a mixture of dry herbs, like oregano, thyme, red pepper, rosemary, black pepper.   3. Transfert the beef ribs in a baking dish and put it in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes.
  4. During this time, start to prepare our side dish.

Oven Baking Vegetables

  1. Clean all the veggies, Peel the potatoes, putting in a water bowl to not oxidate, and change the color. Dice the potatoes into small pieces.
  2. The same with eggplants, diced or cut in the shape that you prefer, and put them in salty water until to prepare all the veggies.
  3. Peel carrots and cut in pieces, too. Continue with zucchini and red bell pepper the same process. The cherry tomatoes cut just in half.
  4. In a deep dish, marinate all the vegetables with salt, pepper, olive oil, and your preferred herbs. Transfer them to a glass or ceramic baking dish, adding a little olive oil.Oven Baked Beef Ribs Recipe-Family Cooking Recipes
  5. Passing the first 20-30 minutes, set the oven at 170-180°C/350°F, and if your oven has the option to bake two different baking dishes at the same time, put the vegetable baking dish to the oven.
  6. Cover the beef ribs baking dish with aluminum paper and bake it for one other hour. The meat will remain soft and not dry, cooking in this way.
  7. Passing the hour, check the beef ribs, and if they need more time, you can let for other 15-20 minutes covering as before.
  8. Transfer the baked beef rings to a serving dish, using our oven-cooked vegetables as a side dish. This plate serves warm.

Tips

You can use any side dish that you prefer with oven beef rings. A good option can be roasted vegetables, boiled or steamed vegetables, green leaves salads, etc.
