Lobster Spaghetti Recipe

  • 500 g spaghetti
  • 1 large lobster
  • 4 well ripen large tomatoes or 500 ml of tomato sauce
  • 100 ml of white wine
  • fresh basil
  • olive oil
  • salt, pepper
  • garlic and chilly pepper

How to clean the lobster

The procedure for cleaning and cooking the lobster for the pasta sauce is the same as we explain in the Lobster Linguini Recipe.

  1. First, We will prepare the lobster by washing it with running water.
  2. Then we cut it with the help of a sharp knife and well manageable by you. Cut it in the middle, in a longitudinal shape.
  3. We clean the inside of the head and the intestinal thread that is along the body.
  4. We also break the hooks so that the taste comes out and they cooked inside. Every piece of meat that is inside them will consume.

Cooking The Pasta Sauce

  1. Once we have completed this process, we proceed with the cooking of the sauce.
    We will throw in a pan olive oil, garlic clove, and chili pepper.
  2. Let the oil heat up and aromatize and place the two halves of the lobster. Cook it for a few minutes on both sides.
  3. When we see that its color will change, we will extinguish it with white wine.
  4. We will raise the cooking temperature so that the alcohol evaporates, and we cook it for another two minutes, enjoying it with salt and ground black pepper at the moment.
  5. If we use ready-made tomato sauce, we will add it to this step and cook it for 5 minutes on low heat.
  6. We like to cook this recipe with fresh tomatoes. First, remove the lobster from the saucepan, and add the peeled and diced tomatoes.
  7. Cook the fresh tomatoes for 10 minutes and arrange with salt and pepper.
  8. Finally, arrange the fresh basil leaves. In the end, add the previously cooked lobster and let it season in the pasta sauce for another 2 minutes.

Completion of the Recipe

  1. Meanwhile, boil the spaghetti with boiling water and salt and drain it al dente.
  2. Add the drained pasta to the saucepan and mix with the prepared sauce (remove the lobster for a moment to mix the pasta and then add). You can add a little of the pasta water to bind the sauce and make it a little liquid.
