This Jam and Baking Soda Cake recipe is a dessert that cooks quite simply and with which you can use your favorite jam.
With a few ingredients, you will be able to please your family and prepare a delicious dessert for breakfast, afternoon, picnic, or to take with you to work or school.

Ingredients
- 300 g Pear jam or Peach jam
- 10 g of baking soda
- 3 eggs
- 100 ml of vegetal oil
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract or cinnamon powder
- 225 g of flour
- 2 tbsp of cocoa
- 50 g black chocolate in pieces
- 50 g of almonds in pieces
- icing sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease and flourish the cake baking pan with 22-24 cm of diameter.
- In a glass bowl, add jam and baking soda. Mix it for two minutes until the jam mixture turns white.
- Add the eggs and mix by hand until it becomes a homogeneous mass.
- Continue adding oil little by little. Add vanilla or cinnamon flavor.
- When we have a homogeneous liquid mass, add sifted flour and cocoa.
- Finally, add the chopped almonds and chocolate to pieces.
- Mix well and pour the mixture into the pan prepared for the cake.
- We will bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Check it with a toothpick.
- Remove from the pan, let cool slightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar as desired.
- We cut it into slices and serve it for breakfast, with a cup of tea or coffee, or with ice cream after a meal or in the afternoon.
