Ingredients
The dough
- Flour 200 g
- Butter 100 g
- Icing sugar 100 g
- Egg 1
- Vanilla
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of baking powder
Filling
- Egg 1
- Cocoa 20 g
- butter 30 g
- hazelnuts 50 g
- flour 100 g
- sugar 50 g
Directions
- First, we will prepare the dough for the cookies. So, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and a little salt with the cold and chopped butter from the refrigerator. Also, we can form the dough using our hands or with a robot or kitchen mixer.
- Next, when we get a granular mass, add the egg, and vanilla, mix again, and the dough is ready.
- Then, wrap the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Meanwhile, we will prepare the filling.
- So, in an electric grinder, we will insert the hazelnuts cleaned from the skins and grind them not very finely. Then, add sugar, butter, the egg and mix them a little.
- In the end, add cocoa and flour, and a sticky dough will form.
- We will take the cookie dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into two parts.
- Next, place baking paper on the table and put a part of the dough on top. Then, roll it in a long, rectangular noodle with a thickness of 5-7 mm.
- In the middle of it, we will place the filling in the form of a tube. Note that the pastry must wrap the filling when we assemble the cylinder.
- We cut this cylinder into pieces 2-3 cm apart. Next, transfer them to the baking pan.
- We will continue the same and the same with the rest. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
- As soon as they are ready, take them out of the oven, let them cool, and put them in a biscuit tin with a lid. They will accompany your coffee very well.
Bon Appetit!
