Yogurt Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • drained Yogurt (yogurt sauce or greek yogurt)
  • Cucumber
  • Dill
  • Olive Oil
  • salt
  • garlic

Directions

  1. As a start, the night before, we drain the yogurt that we have leftover to make the yogurt sauce.
  2. Use a fine colander and a clean cloth that you use in the kitchen. That way, we will have the yogurt sauce we need in the morning.

  4. We will put it in a small bowl and cover it with olive oil. The oil will flavor with the taste of garlic, and with it, we will marinate the yogurt sauce. In this way, the flavor of garlic is light and does not prevail. If you do not want to use garlic at all, you can also avoid this cooking step.
  5. Grate the cucumber with a grater and drain it from the excess water.
  6. In a bowl, add the yogurt sauce, the grated cucumber, the flavored garlic oil, salt, and finely chopped dill.
  7. Mix them well and let them season. You can store it in the fridge for a few days in a sealed bowl or serve it immediately to accompany your dishes.
