Cooking Crepes is one of the easy processes in our cooking routine, and with them, we can create dozens of ideas for our or children’s or dinner or breakfast by filling them with sweet or salty flavors according to preference. This Savory Filling Crepes recipe with mushrooms and bacon is a quick solution for your lunch or dinner. It is a quick and easy recipe, delicious, and complete in nutritional values and calories needed for the meal. We have already shared with you our Crepe recipe for preparing and cooking the classic crepe dough.
Today we want to share this savory recipe for their filling, which is a favorite meal for the whole family, especially children.
Ingredients
For the crepe dough
- 2 eggs
- 400 ml of milk
- 150 g of flour
- a little salt
For The Filling
- 3 brown mushrooms or champions
- one garlic clove, fresh parsley, salt, pepper, olive oil
- 200 g roasted bacon
- 300-400 g bechamel sauce (300 ml qumësht, 30 g gjalp, 30 g miell)
- 100 g Guda cheese
- 2 tbsp ground Grana cheese
- a little butter
Directions
- We will prepare the crepes by kneading the dough as we have shown before in our crepe recipe. Read the full recipe here.
- Meanwhile, we wash and cut the mushrooms into slices and start cooking them.
In a pan with a little olive oil and one clove of garlic, cook the chopped mushrooms, adding salt and pepper. They will be ready in a few minutes. Add the minced parsley and leave them aside.
- We also prepare the bechamel as we explained in the recipe of the Bechamel Sauce.
- We also prepare the crepes and bake them in a non-stick pan.
- At the end of all the dough, we have the crepes ready, and we can fill them. We spread the bacon on half of them, and we will put mushrooms on top of it. We add bechamel and minced Guda cheese.
- Fold them in half and then in a triangle and place them in the pan. We continue like this with everything, and on top, we throw a spoonful of bechamel, minced Grana cheese, and a little butter of each crepe.
- Put them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. You can prepare the crepes beforehand and put them in the oven for a few minutes before consuming the meal to serve them warm.
