Penne Arrabbiata Recipe is one of my favorite recipes in my family, and also, this recipe you can find in most restaurants.
Furthermore, it is a recipe of Italian cuisine originating from Rome, Lazio province.

The characteristic sauce cooks from red chili peppers, garlic, and tomatoes cooked in olive oil. I will show you how I easily prepare this sauce at home.

Moreover, the basis of spicy foods is chili pepper, which adds to the taste, has many properties, and positively affects our health.

In other words, the chili pepper is known as a good anti-inflammatory, helps cure colds and viruses, is a good ally for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, reduces the risk of tumors, improves digestion, etc.

In our traditional cuisine, chili peppers are not so familiar to use widely, but with the expansion of culinary knowledge, the use of chili is much more present daily.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Penne pasta
  • 500 ml tomato sauce
  • red chili pepper
  • garlic clove
  • fresh basil and parsley
  • salt and black pepper
  • olive oil
  • minced Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. First, add olive oil, a clove of garlic, and finely chopped chili pepper into a large deep pan. I usually use one chili pepper. So, you can use more chili pepper, depending on how spicy the red pepper is and how spicy you prefer the pasta sauce.
  2. Next, once the oil is flavored, we will add the tomato sauce and leave it for a few minutes to get the taste on low heat.
  3. Then, add a little salt and black pepper. When it is ready, we will turn it off and add the fresh spices.
  4. Also, in a deep saucepan with plenty of salty boiling water, we will add the penne pasta to boil al dente.
  5. Next, drain the boiled pasta and add it to the saucepan. Also, mix well for 2 minutes to get the taste of the prepared spicy sauce, which should be abundant. In this way, the pasta should taste good in spicy sauce.
  6. Then, add fresh parsley on top and minced parmesan cheese as desired.
  7. Finally, we serve our spicy Penne pasta immediately.
