Mixed Green Salad With Fruit

Salads are the beauty of the table as they are rich in color and variety of products. It is a healthy recipe to enjoy in our meals.
Today’s recipe, Mixed Green Salad With Fruit, is much tasty, full of color and flavor. We can serve it as the salad in our lunch or dinners, or eat it as a unique plate.

The preparation is simple. All we need to do is to wash and dry the ingredients well. After it, everything is ready in five minutes. You can combine the green salads you like by following the same way for assembling and preparing. If you want to marinate, you can add other products such as yogurt or cream for a more creamy marinade. The one I am recommending is closer to the classic taste of marinating and is preferred by everyone.

IngredientsMixed Green Salad With Fruit -Family Cooking Recipes

  • ½ package of mixed salad
  • 100 g of arugula
  • 2-3 red radish
  • 7-8 cherry tomatoes
  • 3-4 strawberries
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

For the dressing

  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
  • 6 tbsp of olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 crushed garlic clove

Directions

  1. We wash the green ingredients and dry them well. I prefer to put green leaves in cold water with baking soda for a few minutes and rinse them under running water.
  2. We cut the radish into thin slices. We also cut tomatoes and strawberries in half.
    We peel the eggs and cut them into pieces. We peel the oranges and cut the middle of each slice, and keep the remaining juice from cutting to use into the dressing marinade. We will add this juice to the marinade.
  3. We assemble the salad by placing all the greens on a salad plate, and on top of them, we place the other ingredients nicely.
  4. We also throw in sesame seeds and chia seeds. You can also use other favorite food seeds or dried fruits.
  5. In a small bowl with a lid, mix all the ingredients for the marinade, close the container well and shake it vigorously until it makes a creamy marinade.
  6. Add it to the salad on top of the serving plate we mounted and serve it immediately.
