Ingredients

  • 500 g pizza flour, or all-purpose flour type “00”.
  • 330 ml of warm water or warm milk
  • 2-tbsp olive oil
  • 1-tbsp salt
  • 1-tsp sugar
  • 8 g dry brewer’s yeast, or 12-15 g of fresh brewer’s yeast. If you prefer to have a long time (more then 4 hours) for bumping up, then you can use half of the dosage.

Directions

  1. In e deep bowl, add 2-tbsp of flour, the brewer’s yeast, and the sugar and prepare a thin dough. Add 50ml of warm milk and mix well until all the ingredients create a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Let this dough bump up for 20 minutes, in a room temperature, covered by a wet kitchen towel.
  3. Passing the time, in a deep bowl, add the rest of the flour, salt, olive oil, and the bumped dough. Knead the dough, adding warm water or milk little by little. The pizza dough must be soft, much softer than the phyllo dough.
  4. We must continue to hand-kneaded for 15-20 minutes until the bread dough becomes elastic and smooth. Use a little flour to knead the dough.
  5. In a greased bowl, add the pizza dough. Cover it with a pellicle, and transfer to a warm place, and let to bump up for 1-2 hours until it doubles the volume. In the Summer, it can bump up at room temperature.Best Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe- Family Cooking Recipes
  6. Passing the bumping time, separate the dough in 3-4 pieces, depending on the pizza baking tins that you will use.
  7. Form a round ball with each dough part and transfer each of them to greased bowls to bump up for another 30 minutes. Cover every bowl with a pellicle.
  8. When the pizza dough reaches the bumping volume, in a floured surface, start to roll the pizza dough, using a rolling pin. Open the pizza dough at the dimeter and thickness that you prefer. Ingredients that you can use for a pizza choice.

  • 200 g Pizza Dough
  • 100 ml tomato sauce
  • 150 g pizza cheese, or mozzarella
  • 100 g ham or bacon
  • 1- finely chopped red bell pepper
  • some olive grains
  • fresh finely chopped mushrooms
