This Mini Jam Tarts recipe is a delicious dessert to enjoy for breakfast, afternoon, party, banquets, etc.
Furthermore, we can cook it easy, in the same way as the classic jam tarts. And, these deliciously cooked for a more stylish version on our tables.
And, we can also combine the tastes of the jams used using the same amount of dough but different jam ones. As well, we follow the same dough recipe for Custard and Fruit Tart recipe.
Ingredients
For the dough
- 200 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- A little salt
- Minced lemon zest
- Blackberry jam -3 tbsp full
- Fig jam
- Icing sugar
Directions
- First, we will make the dough as we have shown before in the recipes with shortcut pastry.
- So, we throw the flour, sugar, and cold butter from the fridge chopped into smaller pieces in a deep glass bowl.
- Then, mix it well to create a granular mass. Add the minced lemon peel. Carefully grind with a grater the yellow part only.
- Next, add the baking powder and mix.
- Then, add the egg, and with processing, the dough will be ready.
- Next, we wrap the dough with cellophane and put it in the fridge for about 1 hour.
- Passing the time, take it out of the fridge and open the dough with a kitchen roller between 2 sheets of baking paper using a little flour.
- So, we will open a foil with a thickness of 7 mm. Then, we cut the dough into circular shapes and put each of them in the mini tarts baking molds.
- In other terms, we put the dough in the baking mold covering the base and sides.
- Then, we throw a layer of jam on them as desired, and we place crossed strips of dough on top.
- In the end, bake the crusts at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Finally, we take them out and dust them with powdered sugar and serve them as desired.
