This Stuffed Pita Bread Recipe is a delicious cheese and ham stuffed pita bread to enjoy at any time, ideal for a picnic, the beach, or to take with you to work.
The recipe is easy to prepare, with ingredients that are always available to us in the kitchen.
It can cook simply, divided into three stages: dough, filling of the pita bread, and frying.
I consider the pita dough and the frying more significant in this recipe, as we can stuff them as we like, with those ingredients that are in the refrigerator.
It is easy to make, follow the steps below, and your kids and family will enjoy this recipe for breakfast, afternoon, or to take to the beach or picnic with the family.

Ingredients
For the dough
- 500 g of flour
- 150 ml of milk
- 150 ml of warm water
- 7 g dry yeast + 1 tsp of sugar
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
For the filling
- 100 g of Mozarella cheese
- 100 g of Mortadella or another ham
- tomato puree
- green or red pepper, olives, or other ingredients you prefer most

Directions
- The first step will knead the dough. We will mix lukewarm milk with yeast, one tablespoon of flour, and sugar.
- Let it activate for 10 minutes.
- Once the time is up, we will add the other flour, salt, and olive oil.
- We will knead the soft pita dough with lukewarm water and let the dough come covered in a bowl with a transparent bag.
- After one hour of rising, we will take the dough and divide it into ten equal parts.
- We will round them and open them in round noodles with a diameter of 20-25 cm.
- We will fill the pita noodles as desired and fold them in half.
- Close them well with the help of a fork, and fry them in a pan with hot oil until they turn reddish. The result is tasty, and you can serve them as desire.
