A doughnut is usually a ring-shaped fried food decorated on the surface with sugar or chocolate glazes. We can also prepare them in the form of numbers filled with cream. The doughnut is a popular food in many countries. It mainly cooks fried, but we can also cook them baked in the oven.

Ingredients
- 500 g of flour
- 2- eggs
- 70 g of sugar
- 8 g of yeast
- 250 ml of milk
- 60 g of melted butter
- a little salt
- Vanilla
- corn oil for frying
For the top decoring
- 150 g of icing sugar
- 20 g of melted butter
- lukewarm water
- Food coloring as you like
- 40 g of chocolate
- granules of sugar to decorate in various colors

How to prepare the doughnut dough
- We will first mix the lukewarm milk with the sugar and brewer’s yeast.
- Add the eggs and mix well.
- Sift the flour and mix it with the salt. We will gradually add the flour to the liquid mass.
- Make the dough by mixing it all, knead it well. Set it in a glass bowl covered with cellophane or kitchen towel.
- Let the doughnut dough rise for 2 hours or until it doubles its initial volume.
How to cook the doughnut
- Passing the time, we roll the dough in a 1 cm thick noodle.
- Once the layer is ready, cut the dough into circular rings with a hole in the middle and let the doughnuts rise on more time for another 20 minutes.
- Put a deep pan with oil to heat and fry them in hot oil for a few minutes until they turn light red. Remove the fried doughnuts from the oil and drain them from the oil on kitchen paper.
The top decoring
- Before starting the top decoration, we need to prepare the glazes first.
In a bowl, prepare the glazes for the doughnuts decoration by mixing powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of lukewarm water and one tablespoon of melted butter. We color this mass as desired by dividing it into several parts (different containers) and add the colors we want. - Chocolate decorating is much simple. We melt chocolate, mix it well and dip the doughnuts on one side. Transfer them to a plate, making sure that the decorated part stays on top.
- Decorate and sprinkle with sugar decorators of different colors as desired.
