Savory Green Onion Cake Recipe is a tasty recipe, which we can serve for a picnic, during a meal, or even for salty breakfasts.
It is a simple recipe, which we can cook with a few ingredients that are always in our fridge or kitchen.

Ingredients
- 300 g of green onions
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 100 g of baked ham
- 50 g ground cheese
- 120 ml of olive oil
- 200 ml of milk
- 250 g of flour
- 50 g of starch
- 1 package of baking powder
- salt
Directions
- First, we will cut the green onions finely. In a pan, add green onions and a little olive oil. Stir-fry them for a few minutes. Add a little more salt to preserve their color.
The green onions cook quickly in a few minutes in their juice, or you can add a little more milk. - We will turn on the oven to heat to 180 degrees.
- In a bowl, we will add the cooked and cooled green onions. We will add the eggs, cottage cheese, minced cheese, the ham in pieces, olive oil, and milk and mix well.
- Separately, we will mix the flour, starch, baking powder and sift them. Add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture.
- Add a little salt, and mix them to make a homogeneous dough.
- We will prepare a 26 cm of diameter baking pan. Choose the shape you like.
- Toss the dough into the baking pan and bake our cake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Do the toothpick test.
- We take it out, let it cool for a few minutes and remove the cake from the form where we baked it.
- We will transfer it to a serving plate, cut it into slices and serve it warm or lukewarm as desired.
