This Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls recipe is an ideal dessert for these so cold days. It is easy to prepare, and we can enjoy it for any meal of the day. It is a delicious one for the whole family, and we can cook it with the few ingredients that we all have in our kitchens. After trying it, you will like this recipe, and you will cook it as often as possible to accompany your tea or coffee on cold winter days or even for your children either for breakfast or as a dessert during the day.
We can even prepare it the day before and place it in the refrigerator arranged in a baking pan covered with a plastic bag. In the morning, take them out 1 or 2 hours before baking them and leave them in a warm place for the dough to rise.
This way, we will have the opportunity for everyone in the family to enjoy this tasty recipe without having to get up early in the morning to prepare it. Ingredients
- 450 g of all-purpose flour
- 250 ml of lukewarm milk
- 1- pack of beer yeast
- 4 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- salt
- 1-egg
For filling
- 90 g of butter at room temperature
- 2 tbsp of cinnamon powder
- 4 tbsp of brown sugar
For the top cream
- 60 g of butter
- 100 g cream cheese
- 100 g of powder sugar
Directions
- In a large bowl, pour the warm milk and mix the yeast.
- Add sugar, melted butter, and egg. Mix well and gradually add the flour and mix it with a spoon.
- The dough will be sticky, so for this reason, we can add one tablespoon of flour and mix it by working it for 2-3 minutes. The dough at the end should be soft.
- We cover it with plastic paper and let it double in volume in a warm place or the oven with the light on for 30 minutes to one hour.
- We open the dough with a kitchen roller on a work table sprinkled with flour up and down. We open the dough in a rectangular loaf measuring 45 cm by 25 cm.
- On the surface, coat the open layer with softened butter, opening it evenly all over its surface.
- We will mix the sugar with the cinnamon powder, and we will cover the whole surface of the dough with this mixture.
- We will roll the dough and cut the roll into two parts, and then into four. Each of these pieces will divide into four smaller pieces, which we will place in a baking pan coated with butter, at a distance from each other.
- We will let the rolls rise for one more time for 20 -30 minutes. Coat the top with melted butter.
- I put the pan with the rolls in the preheated oven at 180 degrees, and I bake for 25-30 minutes to get the reddish color on top.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly for 15 minutes and prepare the cream.
- Mix the butter and cream cheese with the help of an electric hand beater.
- Add the powdered sugar and mix until it makes a puffy cream.
- We throw it over the roles that are still warm. Their warmth will make the cream go inside the rolls and give them a delicious taste.
- Serve these cinnamon rolls as desired.
