Ingredients
- A package of ready-made cod fillets (sticks)
- 3 potatoes
- 1 sweet potato
- corn oil for frying
- olive oil, salt, pepper
For the sauce
- 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- salt, pepper
- 1 tbsp greek yogurt
- lemon juice
Directions
- Remove the codfish sticks from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature.
- Meanwhile, clean the potatoes and cut them into slices. Marinate them in salt and black pepper, and olive oil.
- We transfer them to a baking pan lined with parchment paper. We bake them for 30 minutes in the 200 degrees preheated oven.
- We start frying the cod sticks in a pan of hot corn oil. We will cook them until they get a nice reddish color.
- Remove from the oil and let drain on a plate lined with kitchen paper.
- We also prepare the sauce for accompaniment by adding all the ingredients to a bowl and mixing them until it makes a homogeneous sauce.
- We serve them nicely and enjoy them at a dinner with friends accompanied by cold beer. You can also consume it at children’s parties as finger food. It is also a way for kids to consume fish.
