Cod Fish Sticks Recipe-Family Cooking Recipes

Ingredients

  • A package of ready-made cod fillets (sticks)
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 sweet potato
  • corn oil for frying
  • olive oil, salt, pepper

For the sauce

  • 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 tbsp greek yogurt
  • lemon juice

Directions

  1. Remove the codfish sticks from the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature.
  2. Meanwhile, clean the potatoes and cut them into slices. Marinate them in salt and black pepper, and olive oil.
  3. We transfer them to a baking pan lined with parchment paper. We bake them for 30 minutes in the 200 degrees preheated oven.
  4. We start frying the cod sticks in a pan of hot corn oil. We will cook them until they get a nice reddish color.
  5. Remove from the oil and let drain on a plate lined with kitchen paper.
