Chocolate Carrot Cake Recipe is a dessert to enjoy in any season. It is a delicious cake, easy to prepare, and super tasty to serve for breakfast, picnic, afternoon, or after a meal.

Ingredients
- 250 g peeled carrots
- 2 eggs
- 120 g of sugar
- 80 ml of olive oil or other vegetal oil
- 2-3 tbsp of milk
- 175 g of flour
- 50 g of starch
- 1 package of baking powder
- a little salt
- vanilla and orange zest
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- icing sugar
Directions
- We will turn on the oven to heat to 180 degrees. Grease and flourish a 22 cm of diameter cake baking pan. Lay the base of the baking pan with baking paper.
- First, we will peel the carrots. Cut them into small pieces, and together with the oil, we will blend them until to make a carrot puree.
- In a glass bowl, add eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Beat with an electric beater for a few minutes until the egg mixture foamy.
- Add the carrot puree and milk and mix again. Add the vanilla flavor and ground orange zest
- We will add the sifted flour mixed with the starch and the baking powder to the liquid mass. Mix from the bottom up until a homogeneous dough is formed.
- Finally, add the chocolate cut into pieces. Mix with a spatula and throw the dough in the prepared pan.
- We will set it to bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes. We do the test with a toothpick.
- Once the cake is ready, take it out of the oven, let it cool a bit, transfer it to a serving plate, and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
- After it cools, we cut it into pieces and enjoy it as desired, accompanied by our favorite ice cream with vanilla and chocolate.
