Ingredients
- 650 g of flour
- 375 ml of water
- 25 ml of olive oil
- 25 g of butter
- 10 g dry yeast
- 15 g of salt
- 4 fresh eggs
- 200 g Provolone cheese
- 100 g Pecorino cheese
- 100 g Napoli salami
- 100 g ham
- 100 g spicy salami
Directions
- We will dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and add olive oil there.
- Start to knead the dough by gradually adding the sifted flour to the liquid mass. Add the salt and butter, and we will knead until to get a soft dough.
- Knead the dough a little, round it, and let it rest for a few minutes. Prepare the cheese and sausage mixture by cutting them all into cubes.
- We keep a small part of the dough separate, and we will mix all the dough with the cheese and salami mixture. There are two ways to do this. You can choose to roll out the dough into a rectangular noodle, as we did on the Nettle Bread, adding the filling and making the bread rolls.
I chose the other way by directly combining the dough and the filling to obtain a single dough. - Prepare a cake pan with a hole in the middle with a diameter of 26 cm, coated with butter powdered with flour, and place in it the dough extended into rolls.
- We will put the well-washed raw eggs on top as they will cook together with the bread. Hold the fresh eggs with the dough we separate first.
- Cover the bread with a napkin and let it rise for 1-2 hours to double the volume.
- For the best baking, use a static oven at a temperature of 170 degrees for one hour.
- Remove the bread from the oven, let it cool for a while, put out from the baking pan, transfer it above a plate and let it cool properly.
- Once cooled, cut it into slices and serve as desired.
