This Broccoli Sausage Orecchiette recipe is a tasty first course, which we can serve for a family lunch or dinner. Orecchiette is a short pasta, which can cook and eat either as a hot first plate or even in cold salads.
The combination of broccoli with fresh sausage is a yummy tasty one. It likes everyone, including children, whom we encourage to eat more vegetables using them in our recipes.
The recipe can prepare and cook very quickly, and in a few minutes, we can serve our meal. This recipe cooks with few ingredients, and at the same time, it is a complete dish to serve as a unique plate if we want to consume a light meal.

Ingredients
- 500 g Orecchiette pasta
- 3- fresh sausages
- 1- broccoli
- 1-small onion
- chilly pepper
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- salt, pepper
- olive oil
- fresh parsley
- ½ glass white wine
- ground Parmigiano cheese
Directions
- In a pan, pour olive oil and add finely chopped onion. Add the hot pepper.
- Let it cooks a little until it softens, and add the sausage which we have cleaned from the skin that wraps it, and we have chopped it with the help of two forks.
- Let the sausage cook for 2 minutes and quench it with wine.
- Let the alcohol evaporate, and add salt and pepper. Cut the tomatoes in half and add to the sauce.
- Meanwhile, we cut and washed the broccoli, which we boil for two minutes in boiling water, where we will cook the orecchiette pasta.
- Remove it with the help of a colander and add to the sauce. Add fresh parsley, and the sauce is ready.
- We put the pasta in boiling water to cook for one minute less than the indicated cooking time. We drain orecchiette al dente and add them to the sauce, adding a little more pasta boiling water.
- Mix them for 2 minutes with each other to get the taste of the sauce. Add a pinch of fresh olive oil.
- Serve warm with minced parmesan cheese on top.
