Salads are the category of food that never missed in our table. This recipe that I’m sharing with you, it is my Best Chicken Caesar Salad Recipe, a perfect combination of the chicken and Iceberg Lettuce, made on my way, with a light salad dressing. This salad is very tasty and at the same time, it is very healthy, too.
Ingredients
- 1 Iceberg Lettuce
- 5-6 cherry tomatoes
- 150-200g chicken chest
- 1 toasted bread slice
For the marinade dressing
- 1tbsp mayonnaise
- 1tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt, pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 chopped garlic clove
Directions
- Rinse well in running water the iceberg lettuce. Cut it finely.
- Cut the tomatoes in half, and toast the bread slice and cut it in dice.
- Cut the chicken breast in small pieces, marinate it with salt and pepper.
- In a pan, add a little olive oil, and cook the chicken breast for some minutes until it is golden.
- In another bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade dressing. Add mayonnaise, Greek yoghurt, olive oil, lemon juice, chopped fresh parsley and garlic clove.
- In a salad bowl add all the ingredients, and the marinate dressing. Mix well the salad and serve it as a first plate or the main dish for one serving.
