Banana is a lovely fruit that every family consumes. It is a healthy solution for a hurry-up breakfast or a snack time, consuming raw like a fruit, as a smooth, or drink, but it is a delicious ingredient to cook in many cakes or desserts.
This Banana and Walnut Cake Recipe is delicious, soft, and tasty and easy to prepare. Banana is mostly water and carbohydrates, and a rich source of our daily value of vitamin B6.
Ingredients
- 370g banana
- 215g all-purpose flour
- 200g sugar
- 125 ml of vegetable oil
- 2-eggs
- 8 g baking powder
- Vanilla extract
- 60 g chopped walnut
Directions
- Preheat the oven at 180°C/350°F.
- In a glass bowl, helping by an electric beater, mix the eggs and sugar, until to double the volume and sugar melt well.
- Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Mix delicately, and start adding little by little the oil.
- Continue to mix, adding banana puree, a d at the end the finely chopped walnuts.
- Grease and flour a cake stencil with diameter 24-26 centimeters and put the cake mixture to it do baking.
- Transfer the baking cake to the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, checking with a toothpick at the end.
- Let the cake cool, for a few minutes, transfer at a cake serving plate and decorate with powder sugar.
