Ingredients
For the pie layer
- 4 whites of egg in room temperature
- 200 g of sugar
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp powder sugar
For the filling
- 300 ml cream for desserts
- 300 g strawberry
Directions
- Preheat the oven at 180 grades Celsius, or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a deep bowl, beat the eggs whites with an electric beater until to create a white foam.
- Add the sugar and continue to beat, until to create a bright and beautiful meringue.
- Add the powder sugar and the sifted flour and mix carefully.
- Grease a baking tin and lay a baking paper. Transfer to it all the mixture, open in a homogeneous level and transfer to the preheated oven to bake for 20-25 minutes until to take a hazelnut colour.
- Once baked, let it cool and transfer the baked layer to a kitchen towel and take off the baking paper carefully.
- Start to prepare the filling. In a bowl, beat the cool cream with an electric beater until double the volume.
- Cover the pie layer with the beaten cream and add the cleaned strawberries cut in slices.
- You can use your favourite fruits. It is also delicious with kiwi and orange.
- Start to wrap the pie layer together with the filling creating a roll cake.
- Put it in a plate and transfer to the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
- Serve your dessert when you like, it is perfect for your weekend family meals.
