Calamari Sauce Pasta

This Calamari Sauce Pasta well combines with Fusilli Integrale and Cherry Tomatoes is a delicious summer first course.

Ingredients – 5 Servings

  • 500 g wholemeal Fusilli Pasta
  • 2-3 large squids
  • 7-8 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 chilly pepper (facultative)
  • 1/2 glass of white wine
  • salt, pepper, olive oil
  • fresh parsley and basil leaves

Directions

  1. We will clean the squid carefully, wash them well in running water, and cut them into pieces.
  2. Put a pot of boiling water to boil the pasta.
  3. In a saucepan, add the olive oil, garlic, and chili peppers. If you have children who will consume this recipe, do not use chili peppers.
  4. Once the oil is flavored, add the chopped and dried squid from the excess water.

  6. Once the alcohol evaporates, add the cut in half-washed tomatoes. Add a little salt and pepper and cook at high temperature for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes are released.

  8. Meanwhile, the water boils, add salt and bring the pasta to a boil. We will cook for the time indicated on the packaging.
  9. At the last minute, pass them through a colander to the saucepan. Add a little more water from the boiling water of the pasta.
  10. We will leave them at medium temperature to season with the calamari and tomato sauce for another 1-2 minutes.
  11. Enjoy pasta with plenty of olive oil, salt, pepper, parsley, and basil.
