Chicken Meatballs are tasty food that can cook by combining chicken ground meat with different ingredients, cooked in the oven, pan, or grill. Today we will share our Best Ground Chicken Meatballs recipe, a delicious combination of ground chicken and vegetables for a dish that you can serve even for young babies.
As we shared in other recipes, preparing meatballs is one way to encourage our children to eat a variety of meats or vegetables.
Cooking meatballs for our kids can help to educate young toddlers to learn to eat in pieces and chew and grind properly for better development of the mouth, jaw, and teeth. This recipe is tasty, and it is kid-friendly. I cook this recipe for my daughter, so I recommend it for young toddlers.
You can use ground chicken from the chicken breast part and combining it with other ingredients.
Another way is to use the chicken parts that we cook for our family or kid’s broth, and after getting the broth for the soup, we can grate the cooked meat of chicken and mix it with other healthy ingredients as below to prepare a delicious meal for our kids.
It is also a way to serve the meal differently and teach the kids to love and eat food in all forms and not cooking the same food and creamy soups for our kids only.
Ingredients
- 300 g of ground chicken
- 2-zucchinis
- 1.carrot
- 2 tbsp ground Parmigiano cheese
- 1-egg
- One slice of bread soaked in the milk
- a little salt
- Olive Oil
- Fresh parsley, oregano
- Breadcrumbs for breading.
Directions
- We will grind the chicken breast meat or the meat of other pieces we have previously boiled and used for our baby soup.
- We will grate the zucchini and the peeled carrot with a grater, and we will leave them in a colander to dry them.
- In a deep bowl, we will add the minced chicken, ground vegetables, ground cheese, the chopped soaked bread slice, egg, olive oil, a little salt, finely chopped parsley, and we will prepare the meatball dough.
- Shape the meatballs with your hands and roll them in breadcrumbs.
- In a baking pan lined with parchment paper, we will transfer the prepared meatballs and put them to the preheated oven to bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve either hot or at room temperature.
