Ingredients
- 1 kg of the pulp of cantaloupe melon
- 450-500 g of sugar(depend on the cantaloupe sweetness)
- 1 lemon juice
Directions
- First, we clean the cantaloupe from the skin and seeds.
- Put it in a blender and make it puree.
- In a non-stick pan, add the blended cantaloupe, lemon juice, and the sugar and let to boil in medium or low heat, for 20-30 minutes, until it starts to thick. We need to mix every 4-5 minutes and check if the jam is ready.
- We put the hot jam in the glass jars, that we have sterilized boiling in water for 20-30 minutes. Close the jars well and put them to cool upside down, and let like this until they cool completely.
- We can note the date of jam cooking and keep it in a dry and cool place. After opening a jar, we keep it in the refrigerator. We consume it for breakfast, or in desserts.
